About Me

Dody Muhtar Taufik, currently holding a rank in Major Cavalry. Graduated in 1995 from Indonesia’s military academy, Possesses various military course to include Basic Armour course, Staff Officer’s Course, Para Trooper Course, Basic Intelijen Officer Course (BAIS TNI) and several other to include the latest in Civil Military Liaison Officer Course in 2008. His military career began when as Second Liutenant at the 2nd Cavalry Battalion in Ambarawa, later became a Platton Leader, Staff Officer and Company leader. Further to his advancement, promoted to Captain and assumed a post at the District Millitary Command/KODIM BS/ Semarang as Chief of Intelligence staff. With rounds of extensive experiences, later promoted to Major, holding a post at the School of Armour intially as Millitary Instructor which further undertaking new task as Chief of Administration. With regards to his active participation in military operations, Major Dody Muhtar Taufik has been involved in several in-country missions, his international assignment began in 2007 in Malaysia and later landed him an opportunity to join the United Nations Hybrid Mission in Darfur, Sudan since 2008. A travel enthusiast as well as a proficient soccer player, Major Dody Muhtar Taufik also love reading and writing.
